The Light of Christ has come! May God be with you all. The season of Epiphany celebrates the ministry of Jesus while he was with us on earth. We hear of his miracles, learn details of his ministry, and hear his teachings. Not surprisingly we begin this season with the first event in Jesus’ ministry, namely his baptism by John. Merry Christmas to all! Sunday will mark the tenth day of Christmas. We will need to find ten Lords a' leaping somehow. (Any volunteers?) We will actually be doing something that we have not done since 2017 - namely a service of lessons and carols. This also gives us an opportunity to hear all of the Christmas stories - from the visit of the Magi, to the naming of Jesus in the Jerusalem Temple, and ultimately to the blessings of both Simeon and Anna.
